Palestinians harden conditions for talks with Israel

Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas on Tuesday hardened the conditions he wants met to even begin peace talks with Israel.

Abbas said ahead of a meeting with PLO leaders in Ramallah that before negotiations can resume, Israel must stop building homes for Jews in Judea, Samaria and Jerusalem, and officially recognize the pre-1967 borders as the borders of a new Palestinian state, essentially leaving nothing to negotiate about.

The Palestinian leader again rejected Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's partial 10-month settlement freeze as inadequate, even though the international community hailed it as a significant gesture to get the peace process back on track.

Netanyahu has warned in recent days that if the Palestinians do not respond positively to his gesture soon, he may retract the decision and again allow Jews to build new homes in areas claimed by the Palestinians.

Israeli minister: Arabs can't win war, so resort to propaganda

Israeli Deputy Prime Minister Moshe Yaalon on Wednesday gave a very simple lesson in the progression of the Israeli-Arab conflict: the Arabs first tried to defeat Israel on the battlefield and failed, they then turned to terrorism and failed, and now they are engaging in a no-holds-barred propaganda campaign that sadly is showing signs of success.

In an interview with Israel's Ynet news portal, Yaalon said, "When the Arabs realized they cannot defeat us with their armies, they turned to terrorism and rockets. Now they are realizing that they cannot defeat us this way either, so they are taking the path of de-legitimization."

Yaalon said this propaganda is working in Europe and some parts of the US among left-wing liberals and those who are more than happy to find a new outlet for their long-held anti-Semitic feelings. Others are simply gullible.

"The success of Israel's de-legitimization stems from several elements, such as the new anti-Semitism, which at this time is manifested through anti-Israel sentiments in practice," he said. "There is another group, the liberals, some of whom are radicals while others are naïve. People who compare our security fence to the Berlin Wall, for example, are naïve."

Israel: This is our last gesture to Palestinians
Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman on Thursday said Israel is getting fed up with making peace gestures to the Palestinians, only to be slapped in the face, and that the current 10-month settlement freeze will be the last gesture offered by Israel.
"Now the time for Israeli gestures has ended. The Palestinians can decide whether they want to come to the negotiations table or not," Lieberman told students at Ariel University Center. "The ball is in the Palestinian court."

Lieberman reminded those listening that the temporary settlement freeze is not the first gesture implemented since Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took office in March. Netanyahu also complied with Palestinian demands that he accept the creation of a sovereign Palestinian state as the outcome of peace talks, and has removed numerous military checkpoints in the so-called "West Bank." But instead of responding in kind, or at least returning to the negotiating table, the Palestinians have rejected each Israeli gesture and "moderate" Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas has repeatedly threatened to step down over what he calls phony Israeli offers.
"We cannot tolerate a situation in which (Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas) keeps threatening to resign and shouting 'support me,'" said Lieberman.
If the Palestinians do not take the current gesture seriously, Lieberman said it will be Israel's last and it will be fully reversed. "Let be clear – in 10 months construction in the Judea and Samaria will resume in an open and transparent manner."

Hi all,

Although there are a few Christians among them, very sadly, I can't realise much sympathy for the sad plight of the Palestinians
(which is mainly due to the political presure from their Arab bro's).
Esp after seeing the disgusting treatment of being a Christian dhimmi in an Islamic state.
The Egyptian copts where there long before islam ~ a frightening second class peoples in there own lands sounds familiar.

After seeing these vids ~ just what have the Pals.... got to moan about ??? Lips Sealed

Yahweh bless these people
and lets give generously to support them

A Palestinian State with Jerusalem as Capitol

In August, the ruling Palestinian political party Fatah, held its first congress in twenty years. According to Jerusalem Post Palestinian Reporter Khalid Abu Toameh, the resolutions that were past were basically identical to the ones that were past twenty years ago, when Fatah was a recognized terrorist organization under the leadership of the godfather of modern day terrorism Yasser Arafat. There was no resolution recognizing Israel. None of the old articles calling for the destruction of Israel were changed, and once again it was declared that the armed struggle is the only way to achieve the goal to liberate all of Palestine and destroy the Jewish state.

Yet nothing of this was reported in the media. As usual two different documents were approved, one for international consumption in English, speaking about peace and negotiations and another for internal use in Arabic, talking about the right and duty of terror and armed struggle. One of the most well known terrorist organizations in the world responsible for the deaths of hundreds of Israelis, the Al Aqsa Martyr's Brigade, was recognized as the official armed wing of the Fatah party. This is the condition of Israel's "partner" for peace, with its headquarters about ten miles from Jerusalem!

The Fatah congress moreover adopted a resolution that Jerusalem is the eternal, undivided capitol of the Palestinian people, and that there will never be peace until "every settler" is gone. This means that according to the Palestinians there will never be peace in the Middle East until Jerusalem has become a city void of Jews!

Encouraged by US support, the "moderate" Palestinian leadership has declared that there will not be any more peace negotiations with Israel until Israel first has accepted all their demands. After the Fatah congress, they have instead been working relentlessly to gather support for a UN Security Council decision recognizing a Palestinian state with the 1967 borders and Jerusalem as the capitol, without any negotiations with Israel. Whereas the UN General Assembly only can voice recommendations, a UN Security Council decision is binding on all the nations of the world enforced by the use of military power if necessary.

“Since King David, Jerusalem has never been the capitol of any other nation than Israel.”

Of the Western nations in the Security Council, the Palestinians have already secured support for their policy from France and Britain. The only nation that could possibly stop a decision in the UN Security Council to declare a Palestinian state over the head of Israel is the United States with its veto power. The Palestinians are however banking hard on President Obama's firm commitment to the establishment of a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as their capitol, hoping that the United States will abstain from using their veto power even if they do not support it.

Meanwhile, President Obama is pressuring the Israeli government as hard as he can to dismantle Jewish presence in Judea and Samaria. The United States is also working hard under General Keith Dayton to transform the Palestinian police force, mostly made up of former terrorists, into a full fledged military army. Dayton has already declared that if the Palestinians do not have a state within two years, he is expecting that the Palestinian army he is training will go to war against Israel.

Israeli rabbis to Obama: Time for a biblical approach
RCP Director Rabbi Avraham Levin was quoted by Israel National News as explaining to the ambassador that "the past 17 years have proven without a shadow of a doubt that every square inch ceded by Israel to the Palestinians was transformed into a platform of hatred and terrorism."

Levin noted that the land-for-peace formula had now proved to be wrong on at least three different levels:
   1. It goes against God's Word;
   2. It only produces more bloodshed by encouraging Muslim terror;
   3. It harms American interests in the region by emboldening those forces most opposed to democracy.

Israeli expert: There are no Palestinian refugees
Professor Nitza Nachmias of Haifa University, an expert on Jewish-Arab relations in the Middle East, told Arutz 7 radio this week that the reality is there are no Palestinian refugees, though they are wielded to great effect to extract concessions from Israel.

Poll: Jews hated across Mideast, except by Israeli Arabs

The Pew Research Center's annual Global Attitudes survey published this month had some unsurprising numbers in regards to Israel, the most prominent being that the vast majority of people in the Middle East hate Jews and the Jewish state.

But the poll also revealed some surprises, most notably that the non-Jews that live closest to Jews - the Israeli Arabs - have a generally positive view of Jews.

White House 'on board' Palestinian unilateral statehood threat
U.N. would recognize new nation outside of negotiations with Israel
Posted: February 23, 2010
By Aaron Klein  © 2010 WorldNetDaily
TEL AVIV – Recent meetings between the Obama administration and the Palestinian Authority revealed the White House is on board a Palestinian threat to unilaterally ask the United Nations to recognize a Palestinian state outside of negotiations with Israel, a senior PA negotiator told WND.
The negotiator further claimed the entire European Union leadership has backed the plot.

Report from Israel:
"Jerusalem is in great danger

The reason for this Prayer Alert is the city of Jerusalem – God's own city. First an update of the situation. This is an Israel National News article from January 21.

"Leading PA and Norwegian diplomats met for a high-level meeting in Jerusalem on Monday, prompting concern on the part of some Israelis regarding the future of the Israeli capital. The meeting was held in an eastern Jerusalem hospital on Mt. of Olives, with the participation of Norway’s Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Store, Rafik Husseini of chairman Abbas’ office, PA Jerusalem minister Ahmed A-Rawidi, and others.

"Nine years ago, in August 2001, then-Prime Minister Ariel Sharon ordered the closure of the PA eastern Jerusalem headquarters in Orient House. One of the leaders of the campaign to do so, then-MK Benny Elon, now says this move is in danger of being overturned. In fact, some Quartet representatives suggested this week that the Orient House and other PA institutions in eastern Jerusalem be reopened as yet another enticement to the PA to resume talks with Israel.

"Benny Elon, who served as Tourism Minister from 2001 to 2004, says the developments are 'critically dangerous.' 'This is the big test of the Netanyahu government,' Elon told Arutz-7, 'and I hope he reads the signals. Jerusalem is the heart of our state, and there cannot be any compromise. Yes, the Orient House was closed, there has been massive Jewish building in nearby neighborhoods such as Shimon HaTzaddik and Nissan Beck [purchased by Jews in 1874, opposite Damascus Gate – ed.] – but all this is worthless if the Palestinians take over buildings in the eastern part of the city and operate their institutions from there.'

'American Policy: Eastern Jerusalem for PA'
"'The PA’s desire to make Jerusalem the capital of Palestine is becoming an increasingly acute danger,' Elon said. 'There are several foreign consulates near the Orient House, and particularly the American consulate which focuses on Arabs, while the American consulate in the other side of Jerusalem serves Israelis – and they operate with a clear policy that eastern Jerusalem will become the capital of Palestine, Heaven forbid. The danger is very real, and we must take action immediately.'

'PA Stubborness on Jerusalem is to Our Benefit'
"'[Special Mideast envoy] George Mitchell is working quietly and wisely towards recognition of a Palestinian state,' Elon warned, 'while Netanyahu is very weak in this area. He has already offered recognition of a [demilitarized] Palestinian state, for the first time in Likud history, and the dangers that it will actually come to pass are very real. Our only chance is that the Palestinians are holding out for Jerusalem – and we must therefore be very strong here. Netanyahu is not strong regarding Judea and Samaria, and is not strong regarding a Palestinian state – but I believe that he is strong concerning Jerusalem, and he must prove it, immediately.'

Arab to Jews: You Cannot Make Peace With Us   Israel Today News  June 18
www.israeltoday.co.il
A top Syrian businessman at the weekend insisted that the Middle East peace process is a farce, and that there will never be peace or coexistence between average Arabs and the Jews of Israel.  "Don't let the moderate Arab leaders delude you," Yasser Kashlak, who is of Palestinian descent, said on Hizballah's al-Manar television, "[you] cannot make peace with us."   "Our children will return to Palestine, you have no reason for coexistence," he continued. "Even if our leaders will sign a peace agreement, we will not sign."  Kashlak is financing a flotilla of ships departing from Lebanon with the intent of breaking the Israeli maritime blockade of the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip. He said the Jews of Israel should seriously consider getting on those ships and returning to Europe, as they will never find peace in the Middle East.
During his tirade, Kashlak referred to the Jews as "Europe's refuse," suggesting that Jews are foreign to the Middle East, a concept those supportive of the "Palestinian cause" have long advocated. It ignores the fact that there has been an unbroken Jewish presence in the region for at least 3,000 years. That presences has been documented by successive ancient empires from the Assyrians to the Babylonians to the Persians to the Greeks and, most thoroughly, by the Romans.  Kashlak's remarks also ignored the general consensus that relations between average Palestinians and Jews on the ground in Israel were far better before the introduction of Yasser Arafat's PLO as the representative of the Palestinians. In the absence of the Arab leaders Kashlak derides, and the extremist Muslim figures they opened the door to, most Jews and Arabs tend to get along.
Please pray that the world will realise the true intent of the Arab world - the destruction of Israel
