The Holy Bible isundoubtedly the most pre-eminent book ever to exist !1)
“The most significant book in World History”. The bible has influenced & affected time (AD / BC), history, nations, morals, laws, cultures more than any other book. It has traveled more; gone to all remote world regions; more people have died to get it to the common man; it has spoken to more people in their native tongue by being translated into 2400 languages (90% of all peoples languages) & very soon 500 more (100%), With the many variations & interpretations all expressing the very same theme – God’s vision and advice for a “heavenly Kingdom on earth”; Intellectually – it is also adaptable, especially as colourful children's editions; In all creating the Worlds largest faith. Each revelation alone is far more than any other book the world has ever known or will ever know !

A Book unlike all others; Only 2 languages are entirely based on numerals ~ Hebrew & Greek ~ , this book has the Old Testament (written in Hebrew) and the New-Testament (written in Greek) ?
Languages to the west of Israel are read “Left to Right” whilst to the east are read “Right to Left” ?
Also no other known piece of ancient literature, can hold a candle to its authenticity. The meticulous care with which the Jewish peoples copied their sacred scriptures (the OT) and the elaborate safeguards they setup to eliminate copying errors almost ‘defy belief’. Whilst the younger New-Testament abounds in so many copies thereby also validating its authenticity .

'Definite Authority’ This holy-book's name originally meant library, but this has now undoubtedly become synonymous with Authority & thereby lends itself to a thousand book names, on a countless number of other subjects – eg “mechanics-bible” etc. But imagine if the bible had remained hidden (& ignoring the fact that few could read without Sunday-Schools ever existing). The discovery of the bible
(Dead-Sea-Scrolls found 1940’s & dating to about 120BC) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dead_Sea_Scrolls; would again cause a big revolution. Why ? Because it is so topical and authoritative ~ which leads many to believe that it is ‘Divinely Inspired’.

It is the “Worlds First” in all 'Styles of Writings' that exist today. One of the most ancient of works & certainly the most complete; Started 3500 yrs ago & completed 110AD; & Moving on from; i) Stone-tablets (Ten~Commandments); ii) to papyrus-scrolls; iii) to paper scrolls; iv) to hard-backed-book-form; v) the very first ‘printing-press’ book vi) & now to digital; vii) It has grown from the most ancient of books & yet to the most modern “first of all book types” Quite unique & remarkable
5) The most suppressed book ever ! Even though this ‘book of peace’; teaches nothing seditious or rebellious, & recounts many World-famous stories of other cultures; ie: the Flood, Samson, Babylon, Egypt, Greece, Rome - King Solomon – etc. & also concentrates on the birth, death & return of ONE Man, His God, His prophecies and His favorite People (Israel surviving 3500 years of oppression ?) It is also certainly the most outlawed book ever written. Countless empires and cultures have and still do try in vain to; destroy, denounce, belittle or even hide it’s contents; Caesars, Popes, Kings, leaders, even the Bishop of London (1500’s) & also in the present day many countries still have it banned ?
6) Apart from creating the Worlds largest religion (2.5 billion Christians),
In the UK; the K.J.V. or the “English bible” is also inseparable from our culture, our language, and our laws. Every English hamlet, village, town & city has a Christian chapel, church or Cathedral (or 2) based on this books very teaching. This country was once a very proud Christian nation. ~ sadly we are starting to reap the BAD-rewards of Deut28 curses for leaving Yahweh's teachings.
7) The Bible has outsold more than “Twice all the other 4-top selling books combined” It is constantly the world’s number one best seller - Year after Year. Altogether 6.7 billion copies sold world-wide which is Seven times it's nearest rival (Mao's autobiography) @ a mere 0.9 billion. And has probably sold more than all the copies (world-wide) combinations of books in most bookshops. Moreso; so many of the other top-selling books ever-sold are also based on Christ ie; “Lord of the Rings” etc etc etc. Try a Google list of “best-selling book(s)”.
All of this and much more make it such a 'Must' for any library, collector or individual.
